My January Ipsy Bag

Hi Everyone,

Today I just wanted to share with you a review of my January Ipsy Bag. I had previously unboxed my Ipsy Bag on my youtube channel.  In this post I just wanted to provide further reviews on the products I received.

I was very pleased by the  Nourish Renewing Avocado eye cream. Lately I have been experiencing dry patches on my t-zone and eyelids.  It seemed like nothing I put on it would clear it up. I started using this cream and now my skin is back to normal! Yay! I really like Nourish cosmetics because it is all natural.

I am enjoying the Manna Kadar Shimmer Lotion. I have been using this as a highlighter. Where I am a darker skin tone I find it difficult to find a highlighter that looks good on my skin. I love this one, because it provides the perfect shimmer for my skin. It is very easy to blend and it is long lasting. The only sad thing is I can't seem to find a full size version to order on the website.

The Natural Mineral Eyeshadow from Pacifica has also been used daily since I received my bag. I have been using this as a base for my eye shadows. It is a very shimmery eye shadow and works as a perfect base because it is so neutral. Even without primer I haven't experienced creasing with this shadow.

The other two items: the JCat Gel Liner and Real Techniques still have not been used yet. I have an abundance of eyeliners and I don't want any to dry up before I am finished with them. Lately I have been using liquid eyeliner or They're Real so I haven't used this brush. I am excited to try these products when the time comes.

Overall, the last 2 bags I have received have been better than usual so I have maintained my subscription because of that. Let's hope for three in a row with February's bag!

Getting Rid of the Holiday Bloat with Newport Skinny Tea

Hey Beauties,

I hope 2015 has treated you good so far. I know for myself, I am still trying to get back into the swing of things. I've started back at work, and going to the gym. I do need to start eating better this year and amping up my workout a bit. I wanted to share with you all, something that will help you get on track. Today's post is about Newport Skinny Tea.

My weight was always a battle in my younger years. I discussed this a bit back in this blog post. However, through my adult years I have worked on my metabolism. I still like to watch my figure. When I saw this tea, I was very excited to try it. I have noticed on youtube and instagram that many bloggers were trying teatoxes. I was very excited when Newport Skinny Tea contacted me to try some of their new teas.

The teas I received were the Newport Skinny Tea program and the newly launched Malibu Beach Body tea. These teas only contain things that will help your body. On their website you are able to see the ingridients and how they help your body. I will go into detail first about the Newport Skinny Tea program. I was most interested in this tea. I had no complaints about this tea and felt better than ever after drinking it. I admit I did not follow a strict diet with this tea, like it is suggested because at the time I was not looking at weight. The daytime tea was wonderful because on a cold morning, who doesn't like a hot cup of Tea. The tea also did not make me run to the bathroom, like the some of the detox teas.  My system felt very cleansed after this. I felt like the tea was getting out the toxins in my body I didn't need. I often suffer from nausea and stomach pains but while I drank this tea, it seemed to be eradicated. Everything is natural in these teas.  My stomach appeared to be flatter on the days I drank this tea.

The next tea was the Malibu Beauty Tea. I have only had a few cups of this so far. The tea tastes good. The purpose of this tea is help with your skin. I have fairly good skin with barely any breakouts. This will definitely help to maintain my complexion.  I like how this tea has caffeine because it gives you a bit of kick.

I have had a great experience with Newport Skinny Tea. I received my teas quickly in a cute pink bag. I have already recommended them to my friends. By just drinking a cup of tea each morning you can begin to change your lifestyle and improve your health.

I have a special code for my readers "Jasmine25" to get 25% off your next order!

Be sure to check out Newport Skinny Tea on their social media sites and also on their website. They have some great sales right now which will save you some money. They recently launched a new tea called Newport Skinny Cocoa Tea. I am excited for this because it is a healthier alternative than Hot Chocolate.

2014: A Year in Review

Happy New Year Everyone!

2014 was like every year, it had its ups and downs but mostly it had its ups. I was happy that I blogged more consistently then previous years.  I thought I would do a quick recap of this year. I was more adventurous with my style and was happy to buy things from different stores and wear some things I've never worn before.  This year I had many different looks and after reviewing these I don't think I can just define my style under one category.

In terms of personal things, I became an aunty this year to a beautiful baby girl, I started a new job and have already excelled, started working on my designation in Insurance and traveled to Toronto and Maine. I am very happy with what I achieved and can't wait to see how this year will turn out.

My New Year's Resolution is to focus on blog and youtube channel this year. I want to continuously be bringing my readers new and exciting content. I hope you enjoy!

I wish nothing but the best for all my readers in this upcoming year!

What was your favourite look from 2014?

Sweater Time!

I bought this sweater during Black Friday from Pink Blush. I absolutely love this site. The prices are very reasonable. During this sale, I think with the discounts I didn't even end up paying anything for this sweater. I bought another shirt with this which I will be sharing on my blog. I liked this sweater because it is a perfect casual sweater. I love the print and colors. I already had these boots which match perfectly with my pocket. The shipping was incredibly fast and cheap. For Canadians it is only $5 and it took a week for me after ordering to receive which is awesome. This look is a great casual and comfy look for the colder weather. Work has been casual all month so I wore this outfit.

I'm Glad for Plaid

Today's post is featuring one of my favourite pieces, I bought not too long ago. I bought this plaid shirt dress during Forever 21's friends and family sale. I love this shirt dress because it is perfect for a casual and comfortable look but still stylish. I actually wore this outfit to go shopping. You can actually check out my day in my vlogmas video. I wore this shirt dress a few weeks ago during my trip to Toronto and it was perfect for flying because it was comfortable and stylish. I do not like to look sloppy on an airplane. After months of owning, I'm excited to finally share these boots with you. I bought them last year from an upscale consignment store we have here. These boots were a stand out piece and I knew I needed to have. They are great for the winter because they have treads on the bottom. I love how they are a combat style with a heel. I love plaid and am so happy I was able to get this dress. This is personally one of my favourite outfits because it is edgy and trendy.

My Trip To Toronto

Hi Everyone,
Sorry for my lack of posting lately. It has been extremely cold and I have been super busy studying and writing an exam. I am back. I did manage to film a mini haul of my newest things, so be sure to check out my newest youtube video. Anyway I thought I would share some snaps with you of my recent trip to Toronto.

In my last post I had mentioned I was going to be going to Sensation White. I went and it was an amazing experience. I have always wanted to see Afrojack and he was amazing and killed his set! I could not stop dancing to my favourites. The other DJs were great too. I really enjoyed Sensation  White and was glad I had the opportunity to go. Of course all white attire was required so this is what I wore.

Toronto is such a unique city. There are so many places to shop, eat and enjoy. Some of the things I did were explore Yonge st and the Eaton Centre. This was absolute chaos that weekend because of Black Friday sales, so I did not get to buy as much as I planned.

My favourite place I went shopping was Queen St West.  There were so many independent shops full of cool and unique pieces. I bought a very cute crop top I will be wearing in an upcoming post and I have shared in my mini haul. Shoutout to Zumel & Co. they had great pieces at a reasonable price and the staff were amazing! This store was hands on my favourite on Queen St West.

In terms of food I was happy to have Chipotle which is my favourite fast food restaurant and of course we don't have one here. The guac is just too good! I also got a box of Cinnabons for my family. We are all obsessed.  My favourite meal was at a super cute Sushi restaurant across the street from my hotel. It was so traditional and cute.  We had our own little mini room.

Have you visited Toronto?
