Be Me Nail Art Pens

Recently I was given the opportunity to review the Be Me Art Nail pens. These pens are very cool and the perfect thing to spice up your nails.

The pens come in a 4 pack with 8 colours. These pens are available to Target, Amazon, and They retail for $22.99.

What I like about these pens are they have a regular applicator and then a very thin tip to use for your nail art. This tip is perfect for precision and detail. A lot of nail art pens do not have this feature.

The pamphlet also gave some ideas on designs you can too. After getting these pens I find I am looking at nail designs all the time. These are the perfect accessory for a spa night with your best girlfriends. Also a great stocking stuffer as well.

#TeamLiveFresh Blotting Papers

There's nothing worse than having a greasy face in the middle of the day. These are the perfect solution. These Live Fresh Blotting Paper are the perfect thing to store in your gym bag or your purse. This also would be the perfect stocking stuffer.

 • These will not ruin your make-up. So do not worry is your make-up is fleeky and you use these. It will stay in place and just remove the grease and not smudge.
 • These are infused with Green Tea. Who said Green Tea was only for drinking. These are 100% abaca leaf fibre and are environmental friendly. I'm thinking maybe why that's why this company is called Live Fresh?
 • These are affordable at the mere price of $9.99. It also comes with a Ebook as well, called 27 Natural Skincare Secrets.

These are definitely worth the $9.99. I have been using this daily, to remove any excess oil and grease on my face. I love using this after a quick run on the treadmill during my lunch break.

These were sent to me for review purposes. I can assure you these are my honest thoughts.

#lovingLaneige Water Bank Gel Cream Review

As I grow older I find I get excited about skincare items. The skin, is the largest organ in your body and you will have it for your whole life, so it's very important that it's properly taken care of. I love finding products to give me a glow, keep me looking young and keep my skin hydrated.

I was very excited when I was selected by influenster for the #lovinglaneige voxbox. I had tried a sample of Laneige's Water Sleeping Mask in an Ipsy bag. This was an overnight mask and which I had never tried before. It was not heavy on my skin and when I woke up my skin felt great.
Influenster sent me the Water Bank Gel cream. This was a full size product. It retails for $42.00. I was so grateful to receive this. This moisturizer has entered into my daily skincare routine. I put it on before my foundation and my face feels so smooth. It does not make me greasy either, even by the end of the day. You only need a tiny bit, alot goes a long way. This was my first time using a water based cream and I have to say I was impressed. These are all the rage in Asian countries and now I understand why.

I really like how Laneige is paraben free, phthlate free and animal testing free. These are major things that are important to me and my skin. This line is a little more expensive but you can find it at Sephora and at Target as well. I am very excited to try all their new products. The packaging is very cute too!

I give this a 9/10.

Disclaimer: I received this product complimentary for testing purposes.

Romper Liove

Summer is quickly drifting away, and sadly I have only worn this cute romper once. I bought it back in March, but for some reason it has barely been worn. Darn work dresscode. Anyway, I love this romper because it is just so feminine and like no other piece I own. On the hanger it looks a little cartoonish but I was very happy how it looked on. I didn't want to go overboard with accessories, so I decided on these jeweled statement earrings. These are from Wal-mart? Can you believe that?

It's My birthday

Hi lovelies,

I wanted to share with you some snapshots from my birthday. I wanted a low key birthday this year, so I went out for a night of drinks and dancing. I am sorry for the terrible quality of the pictures. I was in a rush, so these were snapped off my phone.

I love wearing neutrals. When I saw this skirt I knew I needed to have it. I love blush pink and I thought this skirt was super adorable. When I paired it with this tan crop top and sandals I fell in love with this outfit.

Crop Top: Urban Planet
Skirt: Marshall's
Heels: Payless
Bracelet: Vince Camuto

I love wearing my hair in the half-up, half-down Ariana Grande style. Of course I added a weft of my Bellami Lily Hair. My choice for extensions. I decided to pair it with some dramatic eye make-up and neutral lips.

If you would like a tutorial on this look please let me know. I would love to share this with you.

Mia Adora 3D Fiber Mascara Review

Fiber Mascara has been all the rage lately. A day won't pass on my facebook or instagram feeds without someone raving about the amazing results from fiber mascara. I wanted to try this craze to see how long and luscious my lashes would look.

I was provided the Mia Adora 3D Fiber Mascara at a discounted price for reviewing purposes.

Packaging is something that sways me. I love cute packaging! This came in a cute black and hot pink box with velvet inside.

This is a 3 step process, for me I decided to make it a 4 step process.

I first coated my top and bottom lashes with Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara

Then put on the first coat of the fiber gel mascara. This step is getting your lashes prepped for the fibres.

The next step is to apply the fibres. You must be very careful not to get the fibres in your eyes. If you do major Ouchy!

The final step is to apply the gel to keep the fibers in place.

Here is a step by step video by yours truly!

To be honest, I did not notice a huge difference in my lashes. In fact when I asked my mom which lash you thought I had the fiber mascara on she selected the lash I only had Better Than Sex on. I prefer a few swipes of mascara instead of this 4 step process. My lashes are thicker, they did not get that much longer. Something I did not like was how my undereye was full of black residue after a few hours passed. I did not have to use make-up remover to remove this, so that was nice.

How do you like fiber mascara? Please let me know.

There's nothing better than having a summer glow. I love the glowing look, but I always make sure I am doing it safely. Tanning beds and laying out in the sun are not the way to do it. The more information I read about tanning the more scared I get. Wrinkles, skin cancer, it is just all so scary. I take pride getting mistaken for looking 16 when I am going to be turning 26.

I was super excited to discover Tanceuticals. I really like self tanners, but I haven't discovered the perfect tanner until now. I discovered Taneuceticals on website. It was rated as the number one self tanner on the website.

Some of my favourite things about Tanceuticals are:

 • The smell is heavenly. Self tanner gets a bad rep for it's stinky smell. For those who have used self tanner we all know how that smells. Yucky. Tanceuticals smells like coconut. Super yummy!
 • The color pay-off is amazing. I have darker skin already, so sometimes self tanners do nothing for me, but the color pay-off for this is amazing. I look like I just returned from vacation from a sunny destination.
 • The only thing I wish is that there was a bit of bronzer in the lotion. It is a bit hard to see so it is difficult to blend and to make sure you put lotion on the correct spot.
 • The tanner left my skin feeling hydrated, soft and smooth. The mitt was perfect for a great application.
Some great tips from the Tanning Geniuses themselves:

Make Sure you follow them steps or you will look like this:

As you can see this is an amazing color pay-off. Don't worry I fixed this blunder up. Excuse my ugly toes too. This just shows the amazingness of Tanceutials. Fresh off the plane from a tropical place!

For my Canadian and American readers Tanceuticals offers free shipping! A big bonus! So get it and get your glow on!

Chic Happens

Finally an outfit post! I really missed these posts and apologize for the lack of them. Have no fear they are back! The weather was finally nice so I decided to wear this outfit to my friend's 30th birthday party. Now that summer is kinda here, it's still kinda chilly I am back in business! As soon as I bought this skirt I knew it would look perfect with a chambray shirt. I really like this look but it is dressy but is still casual and chic! By the way I am still in love with having an arm party.

Glossybox April Unboxing

Hi Lovelies,

Who doesn't love getting a package in the mail? I know I do. On a wet and rainy Monday, Glossybox was my shining beacon of hope! All I can say is OMG this month's had the most awesome packaging! The fabulousness of this box made it a sell out! How cool is this box alone? I am definitely not throwing this box out!

The inside made it even better. This month there were lot's of goodies from some major brands like OCC, Estee Lauder, and Julep. I have always wanted to try OCC cosmetics. Black Metal Dahlia has been on my wishlist for awhile. So when I saw the Stained Gloss I did a jump for joy inside, even if it's not a typical color I would wear it will make me experiment!

This box is full of value! At only $21 you are getting so much value in this box:

The OCC Stained Gloss- $22 CAD/ $18 USD
Julep Gel Eye Glider- $12.80 USD
Marrakesh Split End Mender and Preventer: $5.99
Estee Lauder Enlighten Dark Spot Correcting Night Serum:$15
Aerin Waterlily Sun: $20

And to top it all off: A Super Cute Make-up to store all your goodies!

Overall this box is worth over $71.00!

I Love Glossybox because they put reputable brands in their boxes. Sometimes I find subscription services bombard you every month with products from companies that I think were just created to put in these subscription bags. OCC Lip Tar in a subscription bag... that's almost unheard of unless you are subscribed to Glossybox! I am so happy they decided to start shipping to Canada so we have a higher end option.

If you like what you see then be sure to subscribe! This box sold out, so you don't want to take the chance! Also if you're looking for a gift for Mom check out their Mother's Day box!

How did you like this month's Glossybox?

These products were sent to me for consideration. I promise these are my true and honest thoughts on the products.

Orogold Cosmetics: Dark Circle Treatment

Hi Lovelies,

The wonderful group at Orogold was so sweet and sent me a sample of their Dark Circle treatment. I have the darkest undereye circles. Nothing seems to work. When they gave me the opportunity to try something from their collection, there was no doubt about it, I wanted something that would help with my dark circles. I have always been super self conscience about my dark circles and nothing seems to work with them. I was hoping these would be the answer to my prayers.

The packaging was super cute. It was all gold and secured in a golden box as well. The cream comes in a pump, so that is a bonus as well. Pumps always win! This product contains Vitamin A, Vitamin B, Vitamin C , Allaintoin, and GOLD!

I have been using this daily for the past two weeks before I put on my foundation. So far I haven't received noticed a huge change. My dark circles may seem a little lighter, but not any major progress. I will continue to monitor the situation and pray for a breakthrough. If this lightens them this will be my holy grail beauty product.

Overall, the packaging of this product is pretty. I have seen little progress but I will continue to use the product. I really enjoy Orogold's daily moisturizer that I received in my Glossybox. It has flecks of gold and is a very different consistency then my other moisturizers. This product is more expensive than I usually spend for skincare. It retails for $298.00. Be sure to check out Orogold's products they seem to have something for every skincare problem!

What do you recommend for dark undereye circles?

This product was sent to me for consideration. These are honest thoughts and opinion.

Kardashian Beauty Hair Review

Hi Everyone,

Today's post is regarding my newest favorite hair products! Kardashian Beauty! I know some people cringe when they hear the Kardashian name but I love them! I decided to try these products because I was running low on oil and was curious to see if the products were any good. I reviewed the products fully in this video:

I still have nothing bad to say about these products. My hair has never felt softer and healthier. For once I think it is growing. My mom even noticed how healthy it looked. By incorporating these products into my daily haircare I have noticed a huge difference! I hope to try the other products in the line.

Stripes for a Night Out

This winter for a blogger who likes to take outdoor OOTD has been horrible. The snowbanks are actually above my head. In my area of town, it has been declared a State of Emergency due to the amout of snow. We have nowhere to put it. Anyway, on to fashion, I discovered I had these outfit pictures that I never shared on the blog. I wore this to a rooftop party I went to with my friends back in the fall. It was great night full of drinks, food, dancing and laughs. I am loving the matching coordinates trend, so when I saw this dress I knew it needed to be mine. I also love how it is a midi style skirt. Kim Kardashian has definitely made this trend popular. This dress was my first purchase from Marshall's in Canada.

What I'm Going to Miss Most About Target Canada

It has been a few weeks since the news broke that Targets in Canada were going to close. Due to poor sales and problems with its distributor we were braced with this sad news. Personally, Target was one of the few places I actually shopped at in person. My friend Kaylee and I made Target our go to spot on Friday nights. My Mom and I also frequented at Target a lot. You could say, I could just not get enough at Target.

I thought I would compile a list of things I will dearly miss about Target Canada.

1. The Make-Up: Target has such a variety of make-up compared to its competitors aka Walmart. It offered reasonably priced brands like Pixie by Petra and Sonia Kashuk. I was lucky enough to get a set of Sonia Kashuk brushes for $20.00. This was an amazing deal I will never forget. The NYX collection offered everything (Except Copenhagen, it was always sold out). No other store here had such a range of NYX products.

2. The Dollar Zone: The dollar zone in Canada is not as great as its American counterpart, but it was still magical. You never know what you could find. I have a planner addiction, so I would always be picking up cute post- it notes, gel pens, stickers... everything to fuel my planner addiction. RIP Target Canada Dollar Zone.

3. The Housewares: Target had lots of beautiful things for your home. From chaise lounges to prints to mirrors, it had everything would make your home look beautiful. I had a spot soft for the candles. My Mom got the Pumpkin Cheesecake candle for her birthday and I swear it smells as good or maybe even better than my Bath and Body Works candles.

4. The Baby Section: I recently became an Aunt to a beautiful baby girl Georgia. Ever since, I found out I was going to have a niece, you could find me in the baby department. They had so many cute outfits at great prices! I bought this adorable outfit for my niece and when I got to the checkout it was even cheaper.

5. The Holiday Section Treats: The treats in the Holiday Section have never let me down in terms of their price and deliciousness. During Halloween I was obsessed with the candy corn. Christmas is the peppermint M&Ms and Valentine's Day it has been the cookies and cream hearts. The only good thing about Target is closing is it might help my waistline,

Those are just a few of the reasons I personally will miss Target. There are many more bigger issues with the closure, like the employees who will be losing their jobs and also what will fill the giant void in the mall. I just wanted to share with you what I will miss. I guess now, this will be an even greater reason for me to cross border shop.

What will you miss from Target?

My January Ipsy Bag

Hi Everyone,

Today I just wanted to share with you a review of my January Ipsy Bag. I had previously unboxed my Ipsy Bag on my youtube channel. In this post I just wanted to provide further reviews on the products I received.

I was very pleased by the Nourish Renewing Avocado eye cream. Lately I have been experiencing dry patches on my t-zone and eyelids. It seemed like nothing I put on it would clear it up. I started using this cream and now my skin is back to normal! Yay! I really like Nourish cosmetics because it is all natural.

I am enjoying the Manna Kadar Shimmer Lotion. I have been using this as a highlighter. Where I am a darker skin tone I find it difficult to find a highlighter that looks good on my skin. I love this one, because it provides the perfect shimmer for my skin. It is very easy to blend and it is long lasting. The only sad thing is I can't seem to find a full size version to order on the website.

The Natural Mineral Eyeshadow from Pacifica has also been used daily since I received my bag. I have been using this as a base for my eye shadows. It is a very shimmery eye shadow and works as a perfect base because it is so neutral. Even without primer I haven't experienced creasing with this shadow.

The other two items: the JCat Gel Liner and Real Techniques still have not been used yet. I have an abundance of eyeliners and I don't want any to dry up before I am finished with them. Lately I have been using liquid eyeliner or They're Real so I haven't used this brush. I am excited to try these products when the time comes.

Overall, the last 2 bags I have received have been better than usual so I have maintained my subscription because of that. Let's hope for three in a row with February's bag!

If you are not currently subscribed to Ipsy and you would like to please use my link

What do you think of Ipsy?

Getting Rid of the Holiday Bloat with Newport Skinny Tea

Hey Beauties,

I hope 2015 has treated you good so far. I know for myself, I am still trying to get back into the swing of things. I've started back at work, and going to the gym. I do need to start eating better this year and amping up my workout a bit. I wanted to share with you all, something that will help you get on track. Today's post is about Newport Skinny Tea.

My weight was always a battle in my younger years. I discussed this a bit back in this blog post. However, through my adult years I have worked on my metabolism. I still like to watch my figure. When I saw this tea, I was very excited to try it. I have noticed on youtube and instagram that many bloggers were trying teatoxes. I was very excited when Newport Skinny Tea contacted me to try some of their new teas.

The teas I received were the Newport Skinny Tea program and the newly launched Malibu Beach Body tea. These teas only contain things that will help your body. On their website you are able to see the ingridients and how they help your body. I will go into detail first about the Newport Skinny Tea program. I was most interested in this tea. I had no complaints about this tea and felt better than ever after drinking it. I admit I did not follow a strict diet with this tea, like it is suggested because at the time I was not looking at weight. The daytime tea was wonderful because on a cold morning, who doesn't like a hot cup of Tea. The tea also did not make me run to the bathroom, like the some of the detox teas. My system felt very cleansed after this. I felt like the tea was getting out the toxins in my body I didn't need. I often suffer from nausea and stomach pains but while I drank this tea, it seemed to be eradicated. Everything is natural in these teas. My stomach appeared to be flatter on the days I drank this tea.

The next tea was the Malibu Beauty Tea. I have only had a few cups of this so far. The tea tastes good. The purpose of this tea is help with your skin. I have fairly good skin with barely any breakouts. This will definitely help to maintain my complexion. I like how this tea has caffeine because it gives you a bit of kick.

I have had a great experience with Newport Skinny Tea. I received my teas quickly in a cute pink bag. I have already recommended them to my friends. By just drinking a cup of tea each morning you can begin to change your lifestyle and improve your health.

I have a special code for my readers "Jasmine25" to get 25% off your next order!

Be sure to check out Newport Skinny Tea on their social media sites and also on their website. They have some great sales right now which will save you some money. They recently launched a new tea called Newport Skinny Cocoa Tea. I am excited for this because it is a healthier alternative than Hot Chocolate.

*I was sent this tea to review. I guarantee these are my honest thoughts*

2014: A Year in Review

Happy New Year Everyone!

2014 was like every year, it had its ups and downs but mostly it had its ups. I was happy that I blogged more consistently then previous years. I thought I would do a quick recap of this year. I was more adventurous with my style and was happy to buy things from different stores and wear some things I've never worn before. This year I had many different looks and after reviewing these I don't think I can just define my style under one category.

In terms of personal things, I became an aunty this year to a beautiful baby girl, I started a new job and have already excelled, started working on my designation in Insurance and traveled to Toronto and Maine. I am very happy with what I achieved and can't wait to see how this year will turn out.

My New Year's Resolution is to focus on blog and youtube channel this year. I want to continuously be bringing my readers new and exciting content. I hope you enjoy!

I wish nothing but the best for all my readers in this upcoming year!
